Strumpfbandnatter / Garter Snake

Das hier ist nicht die Brillenschlange Shalala, sondern eine Strumpfbandnatter. Sie heißt so, weil sie wie ein Strumpfband aussieht. Sie ist nicht giftig. Sie ist sehr oft in Nordamerika zu finden. Wir haben sie sofort wieder freigelassen.

This is a garter snake which probably looks a little like a garter, too. It is not poisonous. It is very common in North America. We set it free after taking the photo.
